Tundra CrewMax
"The Toyota Tundra was introduced at the 2006 Chicago Auto Show. The new CrewMax (D-cab) version of the Tundra is built in San Antonio, Texas, while the Regular (B-cab) and Double cab (C-cab) are built in Gibson County, Indiana. The new double cab replaces the access cab in the lineup and the CrewMax takes over at the top. Toyota may introduce a diesel engine by late 2009." Edmunds.com

"One look at the new Toyota Tundra is all it takes to get the message: “No more Mr. Nice Guy.” Toyota’s Tundra's development team is composed almost entirely of U.S.-based personnel. Product planning was done in Torrance California, home of Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A., Engineering and Development at the Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and all the styling, inside and out, was created by Toyota’s Calty Research and Design operations in Ann Arbor and Newport Beach, California."
